Squadron 12U Gold Takes Second-Place in the
CIncinnati Galaxy Big Bang Spring Tournament

Squadron 12U Gold rolled into Sunday's elimination round at 8 AM to begin the day with a combined no-hitter from Joe Richmond and Evan Leader vs Ironmen Black 12U. Luke Bolger and Jack Reuszer led the way with 2 hits each in the 5-2 win.

Deklan McGahan started game two right where Joe and Evan left off and threw 5 innings vs Galaxy Black 12U while only giving up 1 earned run. Reid Rowland led the offense with a double and single and Luke Bolger made multiple highlight-reel plays in center field. Evan Leader came in again for the save to seal the 6-3 win.

The championship was a rematch from Saturday vs the Riverbats 12U National-Cooperstown team. Squadron held tough but the Riverbats' offense and pitching was just too much in the end.

Three days, five games, a second-place finish, and countless memories.
